"Your heart has no limit"
Tennis Superstar, Li Na at ISB!
On Sunday, December 8th, 2014, ISB students and families welcomed around 800 members of the local community to an Experiential Learning Experience with Tennis Superstar, Li Na. This was a partnership event between our school and Penguin Publishing. Li Na released her book, My Life, in English at the beginning of December.
Three ISB high school students led questions during an educational and humorous dialog. After the event, many of our students and families were able to have Li Na sign a book and/or take a photo. It was a pleasure working and learning alongside this amazing athlete.
As a compliment to our students and staff, Li Na asked several times when she could visit our school again. We are looking forward to our next experience with Li Na. Hopefully, our students will be working with her on projects in the near future.
As ISB said good-bye to Li Na, we wished her all the best at the Australian Open. On Saturday, January 25th, 2014, we all cheered for Li Na as she defeated Dominika Cibulkova in the final. A sincere congratulations to a great person and tennis player.
